CSKA met very serious resistance from UNICS who did not want to surrender, but played well in the last 13 minutes of the game earning the right to play in Russian Championship finals.

UNICS Kazan vs. CSKA: 66-74

Ettore Messina:

“It was very difficult game and very difficult series even though we won 3-0. After a good start we did not move the ball well on offense and allowed Kazan to take the lead. But in the second half our best players scored some important baskets and we took the win.”
