Serbian Ivan Jeremic, 47, will be one of the assistants to Evgeny Pashutin. Jeremic already worked in CSKA from 2002 to 2005. Contract is signed for three years.

Just starting his playing career in Radnicki Belgrade Jeremic got injured and had to switch to coaching when he was 19 years old. He worked in different clubs in Serbia including Hemofarm and OKK Belgrade. Also he was a head coach of Libyan National Team. After three years as an assistant to Dusan Ivkovic in CSKA Jeremic got back to Libya and was working in a coaching staff of Lietuvos Rytas and BC Kiev.

Ivan Jeremic:

“I am happy to get back to the club where I already worked for three years. CSKA is one of the best if not the best teams in Europe so it is a great honor to be a part of it. I am also very glad to help Zhenya Pashutin, who is a good friend of mine. But I am sure he took me not because our friendship but because he knows how I work. He played in CSKA when I was an assistant to Duda Ivkovic and after that we were the colleagues for two more seasons. I think Zhenya is the most talented coach in Russia and one of the most promising coaches in Europe. I am sure he will do a good work.”

Evgeny Pashutin:

“I am very glad that Jeremic and Minic will help CSKA. Both are well-known European coaches with great Euroleague experience. I hope we will reach great results together. I know Ivan for his work with Dusan Ivkovic in CSKA. Minic also worked under Ivkovic in Greece for 9 years. That means they passed the highest of schools. In my opinion we strengthened our coaching staff.”
