CSKA flew from Istanbul to Athens today, where the final of the preseason - against Panathinaikos – will take place tomorrow.
The army team conducted a full training day yeasterday, having worked in the arena of Darussafaka, which also hosted a friendly meetings with Efes Pilsen. The team spent the night in the Turkish capital, and went to the Greek capital early in the morning. In Athens, the red-blue settled in the same hotel, where they lived during the Euroleague Final Four 2007. CSKA vice-presidents Yuri Yurkov and Natalia Furaeva joined the team to celebrate of the career finale of the legendary PAO player Fragiskos Alvertis.
CSKA held video session and practiced on OAKA arena in the evening.
