CSKA did not stand well under pressure of sell out Nokia Arena. Huge number of unforced mistakes led to the defeat with a big margin vs Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs. CSKA: 71-54

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA Head Coach:
“It was a very difficult game which was decided in the first quarter. We couldn’t find the rhythm, we couldn’t attack against Maccabi big men. Our centers Sokolov and Kaun rarely touched the floor in the Euroleague last season, they lack confidence and that puts a great load on the shoulders of our backcourt. We were telling a lot about the necessity to stop Maccabi fast breaks but allowed 13 points in transition in third quarter only.”
