CSKA won in Vitoria

“It is always difficult to play in Vitoria. Caja Laboral is a team with character and traditions, with experience of playing Euroleague Final Fours and great coach. It was very important for us to stop Splitter who is able to dominate under the basket. We stopped him in the first half, and he got some freedom only when Kaun (who played great) became tired. Besides we made Caja Laboral to play half court offense which was also one of our goals. It was very difficult in the third quarter when we scored only 8 points but the team showed its character in defense.”
