CSKA confidently won the game of the leaders of Russian Superleague. Our team got big difference in the first half and masterfully resisted all Khimki attempts to run.

Khimki Moscow Region vs. CSKA: 61-74

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA head coach:
“We played a quality game with solid defense. Our plan was not to let Khimki score more than 70 points, because usually they score around 80. We played very aggressive defense in the first and second quarter. It was very difficult to keep the same tempo after the break but we were able to stay within winning margin. It was important to stop their fast breaks and not to allow them to have open shots from the perimeter.”
