Prokom Gdynia defeated just another big club at home snapping CSKA 10-game winning streak in the Euroleague. The only consolation for our team is 7-point difference which can give the edge over Polish team in final standings.

Asseco Prokom vs. CSKA: 88-81

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA head coach:
“The game was tough as we expected. Prokom demonstrates exciting basketball with a lot of motion, plays strong both on offense and defense, shoots with high percentage. We expected that the game will be decided in the very end. Our team played bad defense, letting the opponents to score 48 points in the first half. We made some adjustments during the break but still got 24 points in the fourth quarter – that’s not our game. Besides we made 18 turnovers, including 5 in the last two minutes. And it is difficult to win in these conditions. Now we have to make conclusions and focus on the game in Malaga.”
