To play the key game of the Euroleague Top 16 our team made probably the longest trip of the season. CSKA will meet Unicaja in Malaga tomorrow in the game of Day 5 in Group G.

The bus with players, coaches and staff aboard departed from home arena at 2 pm. The team accommodated in the hotel almost at 10 pm CET in the end of 10-hour long trip. The practice on the opponent’s court was not planned as usually – red-blues will step on the floor of Palacio de Deportes Martin Carpena during the morning shootaround.

“The game is very important for us, - Evgeny Pashutin said. I expect it to be very difficult because for Unicaja it will be more than the last chance. Our primary task is to play very physical defense the way we played in previous game of Russian Superleague. We should be careful playing against Cook, Archibald and Rodriguez who scored more than 20 points during last couple of games. Of course, we should also control the tempo on offense.”
