Transaero flight 9797 took our team to Vitoria, Spain today. Game 3 of the Euroleague quarterfinal series will be played here on Tuesday and Game 4 (if needed) on Thursday.

For the first time in a long period of time CSKA has “an extended” roster with all 13 healthy players. Only Matjaz Smodis who continues individual rehabilitation program stayed in Moscow. Hosts will also have all the players healthy.

“I expect the game to be even more physical than we had in Moscow in Game 2, – CSKA coach Evgeny Pashutin said. Caja Laboral will surely play even more aggressive and they will try to put the pressure on us for all 40 minutes. We need to stay calm and focused, to play our defense and execute our game plan.”

In memory of victims of terrorist attacks in Moscow underground the army players will wear black bands on their jerseys. CSKA ex-head coach, Real Madrid head coach Ettore Messina expressed his condolences to all who was affected by the attacks through our club’s president Andrey Vatutin.
