Our team went to play the final game of the Superleague second leg vs Krasnye Krylia with shortened roster. Transaero Boeing took only 10 players to Samara.

After the difficult Euroleague quarterfinal series against Caja Laboral CSKA medical and coaching staffs decided to rest three starting five players. Alexander Kaun who was bothered by knee pains for past two weeks will undergo 5-day therapy after which doctors will define if he need prolonged treatment. Trajan Langdon and Ramunas Siskauskas got the chance to heal their minor injuries. It is planned that both shooters will join the team’s practices on Wednesday. It should be mentioned that Matjaz Smodis started his individual basketball practices.

“We let our leaders to take care of their health after the Euroleague quarterfinal victory, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. But that does not mean that we aren’t taking our opponent serious. Krasnye Krylia qualified for the Eurochallenge Final Four, they have balanced roster with a number of very good players. But I am still sure that our reserves are good enough to succeed in the upcoming game.”
