Too early

17.04.2010
It looked like CSKA players were still asleep when the game vs Dynamo started at 1:00 pm, or they just did not found enough motivation which was lavishly squandered in the Euroleague quarterfinals. And the first place in the Superleague regular championship still remains in dreams and plans. The loss in overtime is the second consecutive for the red-blues in Russian league.

Dynamo Moscow vs. CSKA: 85-82 OT

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA head coach:
“We played bad defense in the beginning again, we scored only 8 points in the first quarter and we lost control of the game tempo. Our young players helped to break the game down and in the end both teams had the equal chances to win. Vorontsevich and Sokolov weren’t playing good in the first quarter, therefore we used Khryapa and Smodis as centers. In the end of fourth quarter with 3-point lead we should have been foul before the shot and Holden tried to do that but we received three free throws.”
