Our team’s forward Andrey Vorontsevich underwent detailed medical examination on his left shoulder injured in the World Championship game.
Damaged acromioclavicular joint was diagnosed, which does not require surgical intervention. The player is advised to undergo conservative treatment, which would require two to four weeks to recover.
Vorontsevich injured his shoulder in the semifinal game of the 5th-8th place tournament against Argentina. On the next day he also took part in the victory for the Russian team in a game against Slovenia for the 7th place.
