I am very glad to be in St. Petersburg for the first time. I have big respect to Alexander Belov and Vladimir Kondrashin, so I am happy that our team showed the game worthy of their memory. The players showed their professionalism, seriousness, the desire to win, to work hard on the floor especially on defense. Surely, we don’t have to win in a preseason tournament but still we are glad to win the trophy. We understand that Efes Pilsen came here without their starting center Raduljica and it influenced opponent’s game but still we demonstrated good quality. We have several difficult tasks to solve before the season starts. First, it will be difficult to add our injured players because they need time to learn our system. Second, the games in St. Petersburg showed that we have some problems of attacking the zone. But we are not afraid of that as it is an important part of our job to learn from mistakes.
