CSKA will play official game for the first time in club’s history. Our team flew to the city on the east of Spain by Transaero flight today to face the local team.

As usually, red-blues held full practice just before the departure. Only 10 players participated with no restrictions as Siskauskas (back) and Kaun (knee) are healing their injuries, Khryapa and Zabelin work individually. In the end these 10 players only went to Valencia.

“It’s a lot of tension on Valencia side as they lost 6 games in a row, both in Euroleague and ACB, - CSKA head coach Dusko Vujosevic said. But they have all the injured players back, so I think it will be extremely difficult for us. To win we should not let them score easy baskets and to control their main players. We have a number of problems now and our primary goal is to qualify to Top 16. We need time to build the team and we have to improve during these difficult moments and not to destroy what we’ve already done.”
