Probably the most important game of the European season was as unsuccessful as the games of first leg. CSKA had a number of bad periods and deciding one happened in the final three minutes of the game.

AJ Milano vs. CSKA: 71-65

Dusko Vujosevic, CSKA head coach:
The game was very important for both teams, so we expected it to be nervous and defensive oriented. We started great but made some turnovers and AJ fast breaks allowed the opponent to get back to the game. One shot decided the game in the end. I should mention that we missed 4 lay-ups and 8 free throws during the game. Because of game’s importance it was not spectacular, so the fans watched tough game with intrigue until the end.
