The game with Nizhny Novgorod will become the third one for our team in current BEKO PBL regular championship. Many players and staff members will also visit the city fior the third time this year, including the participation in the league’s All-Star Game.

13 players went to Nizhny by Transaero flight. The roster misses Artem Zabelin who is staying with the junior team. Trajan Langdon is back to practicing from Monday upon his return from the US. The examination taken there confirmed the diagnosis by doctors from Moscow: the pains in left hip joint area are explained by the problems in Langdon’s back. The player is recommended to continue his conservative treatment.

“Unfortunately, I did not see much games by our opponent to make correct estimations”, - CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “The Russian League does not have weak teams, and the fact that Nizhny Novgorod fights for the playoffs birth adds motivation to their team. We won twice confidently in previous games, so I hope we will be focused on the floor because our past successes do not count for us on the game day.”
