VTB United League Final Four will start for our team in a semifinal game against Azovmash from Ukraine. CSKA held the practice in Basket Hall of Kazan but did not finish the preparation program.

The session on the main tournament arena was dynamic: the team ran a lot and worked on plays in shortened lineups. It is decided to give up on morning shootaround. Wakeup time is quite late, so the players have a chance to rest more and to have video session after the breakfast.

“We studied a lot of video of Azovmash so I can say that we understand their game style”, - CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “Mariupol team has a lot of American players so their style can be named American, because they use individual skills a lot. That’s dangerous because you never know who is hot on a given night. Azovmash success is not a sensation for me. At the same time I believe that our team has a will and desire to win. I hope that we can please our fans with a smart and quality basketball.”
