BEKO PBL playoffs semifinal series moved to the phase of away games for our team. CSKA boarded Transaero flight today and went to Krasnodar, where Game 3 and (if needed) Game 4 will take place.
The road to Domodedovo Airport appeared to be the longest ever this time. It took the bus 2 hours and 10 minutes to reach the final point – 10 minutes more than the flight to Krasnodar.
13 CSKA players travelled to Kuban banks. Only Ramunas Siskauskas stayed home to continue his rehabilitation after leg injury.
“With two home wins we reached our minimum task,” – CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “Now we are aiming for maximum task – to win on the road. I think the team is in good shape and motivated to do everything needed to win.”
