CSKA vs. Khimki Moscow region: 72-77 (-5)
Jonas Kazlauskas, CSKA head coach:
It’s tough to talk after the home loss and the third in a row against Khimki. I think the game was interesting for the fans, the intrigue was alive until the end. Still it was not that interesting for us because of the loss. It seemed that the opponents fought better, wanted to win in every single moment, single contact, fouled differently, gave more heart to the game. Second, you should not miss 15 free throws in a game like this. Third, it is difficult for us to play without two key players, we missed the perimeter threat tonight. Besides, we had to give more time to the players who do not have the winning experience. Our team had to earn the right to play for sellout arena. I hope we will have more fans tomorrow, but I understand that’s almost impossible because of the weekend.
