CSKA won first Cup game

CSKA won the first game of 1/8 of the final of Russian Cup. On home arena army team get the control over the game in the early beginning and defeat Standart Toliatti in a beautiful style: 105-60.

Khimki vs CSKA

CSKA won a game against Khimki – 87-67. Officially the host of the game was Khimki, but the match was held in USK CSKA. The clubs have to share the home arena as Khimki are waiting for their own Sports Hall to be constracted. The game was not an easy walk for the Army club.

First Cup game will take place in Moscow

According to an agreement between BC Standart (Toliatti) and PBC CSKA the first game of 1/8 of Russian Cup will take place in Moscow on January, 30. The second game will be held in Toliatti on February, 6.

The injury of Andersen is not serious

The center of PBC CSKA David Andersen will not need long time recovery after the knee injury that he received during the game of the group stage of Euroleague against Pau-Orthez France.

Offence, offence…

CSKA wins a game in Pau – 103-93. The result is quite unusual for the Army club. For the second time in three seasons CSKA reached the mark of 100+ points scored in a game. Last time it happened in a match against Cibona in Top 16 in 2003.

Today morning CSKA by charter flight from Vnukovo-1 went to France to the game of 12th round of group stage of Euroleague ULEB. This time army team used comfortable liner Tu-154.

CSKA beat longtime rival

Ural Great could not stop CSKA in the Army club run for its 15 victory in a row in the Superleague. The best scorer of the game was Marcus Brown with 22 points, 12 of them were gathered in the first quarter.

Tonight after a 2-hour practice in USH CSKA Army team went to Perm for the game of Russian regular Championship against Ural Great. Bad weather and snowhas corrected plans of the team.

CSKA Is On The Top. For Sure

CSKA finished the game against Ulker with the score 90-77. The Army club advantage could be even more overwhelming as in the middle of the last quarter the score was 80-60. CSKA center David Andersen scored 22 points in the game, Marcus Brown added 14 and J.R.Holden – 12.

CSKA won first game of the Russian Superleague in 2005 by beating Lokomotiv Rostov on the road. Zakhar Pashutin and Sergey Monya have shown brilliant game in the second half and did not give hosts any chances.

Today morning Moscow army team went to Rostov by the charter flight from airport Vnukovo to play against local Lokomotiv in the next round of Russian Superleague.

Vialtsev and Tsintsadze will play in Perm

According to an agreement between three clubs guards of PBC CSKA Egor Vialtsev and George Tsintsadze will leave CSK BBS and join to Ural Great Perm. From September, 2004 both players played in Samara club on the loan.

Tau did not make a revenge

CSKA won its 23rd game in a row and 10th in the Euroleague. The final score of the game in Vitoria vs. Tau is 81-85. Three players achieved 16 points each. They are J.R.Holden, Marcus Brown and Martin Muursepp. Theodoros Papaloukas added 10. Aleksey Savrasenko gathered game high 10 rebounds...

CSKA came to Vitoria again

Today morning the delegation of the army club went to Spain the the 10th game of the gerular season of Euroleague Championship against Tau. Last time CSKA was here on March of last year.

CSKA qualified to Top16

Another hard game brought CSKA a step closer to the final goal of the season. The Army club qualified to Top16 just in the second game of the 2nd round of the regular season and its winning serie reached the 22 games mark.

Obradovic: CSKA plays team basketball

Today afternoon players and coaches of Panathinaikos (first opponent of our team in 2005) came to Moscow from Greece. After the accomodation in the Grand Mariott hotel they went to USH CSKA to have 2-hour practice.
