Messina to have the clinic in Khimki

CSKA head coach is going to take part in the coaching clinic in Khimki on October, 6th. European coach of the year would speak on the defense fundamentals. This is going to be the first Messina lecture for Russian coaches.

Vyaltsev to spend another season in Ural Great

CSKA guard Egor Vyaltsev is going to spend another season in Ural Great. Today all the documents needed to send him on loan were filled. Vyaltsev played for the club from Perm for one and a half season.

Sergey Kuschenko received the Executive of the Year Award

At the Euroleague Draw ceremony CSKA President Sergey Kuschenko received the Executive of the Year Award from the ULEB President Eduardo Portela.

CSKA to start the Euroleague season in Napoli

The Euroleague Draw determined CSKA rivals in the Group C for the regular season. They are CF Winterthur Barcelona (Spain), Benneton Treviso and SS Basket Napoli (Italy), Fenerbahce-Ulker (Turkey), Zalgiris (Lithuania), Pau-Ortez (France) and Aris Thessalonica (Greece).

Messina to receive Gomelski Trophy as top coach

One of the great minds of modern basketball, Ettore Messina of CSKA Moscow, will be awarded the Aleksander Gomelski Coach of the Year Trophy for 2005-06 when the draw for a new Euroleague season takes place on September 14 in Athens.

Kushchenko voted Euroleague executive award

CSKA Moscow president Sergey Kushchenko, whose team brought the continental title back to Europe's biggest country, will receive Euroleague Basketball's Club Executive of the Year Award when the draw for a new Euroleague season takes place on September 14 in Athens, Greece. CSKA overcame hardship all last season to finally raise the Euroleague trophy last April 30 after a thrilling Final Four in the Czech Republic capital of Prague.
