The CSKA Moscow junior team earned a trip to the final on Saturday after destroying Hapoel Jerusalem in the early game on Friday morning.

CSKA Moscow opened the Kamkabel Junior tournament with a big win over the champion team Zalgiris Kaunas, 70-60. CSKA took off to an 8-point lead already after one quarter, 10-18, and maintained the lead throughout the entire game.

In the last game of the group stage of the international tournament Vilagarcia Basket Cup-2004 CSKA junior team lost 3 points to the Zalgiris team. So, Lithuanian team went to the final where they will play against Unicaja.

The second day on the international basketball tournament Vilagarcia Basket Cup-2004 was not lucky for Eugeny Pashutin team. Army team who was leading while the most part of time, lost the game in the last quarter.

Eugeny Pashutin team took good start on the international junior tournament Vilagarcia Basket Cup-2004. In the first game they defeat Caja Espana 97-94. In the second quarter CSKA made 13-points spurt and won these 10 minutes with 31-18.

After yesterday game against the main CSKA squad the team of Moscow Region decided to play in the first game of the 1/16 of Cup of Russia in the reserved squad. Egor Vialtsev like in other Cup games has improved our roster.

CSKA junior team won in the second game on the group stage of the junior tournament in Barcelona and moved to the semifinal. Today they defeat Unicaja Malaga. Spain team played the second game this day but in the beginning of the game against CSKA they could played very well.

Junior international tournament dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the basketball club L`Hospitalet has started today in Barcelona, Spain. In the first game CSKA junior team played against the hosts of the tournament.
