CSKA vs. Zagreb: 87-74 (+13)
Jonas Kazlauskas, CSKA head coach:
I don’t think the game was very good for us. Mentally we weren’t ready as we should be, and we should pay more attention to that. We weren’t focused from the very beginning, defended inappropriately, started to look for guilty men. It is unacceptable. Probably, this happens because life is too good here in CSKA.
Vladimir Androic, KK Zagreb head coach:
We had only one goal for tonight – to play as good as it possible against CSKA. And I think we reached our goal against one of the strongest teams in Europe. I understand that CSKA had its own tasks, they let some key players rest, they put on the floor many guys who did not play more before. But I am glad we stayed serious until the end and were able to stay in the game. The next game – against Unicaja at home – will be extremely important for us. We need to win it badly. We want to get the chance to decide on our Top 16 destiny in the last game of regular championship at Kaunas.
