The team from Klaipeda made our team work a lot in the starting game of VTB United League. To win confidently army men had to show very good basketball in the end.

Neptunas Klaipeda vs. CSKA: 72-83 (+11)

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
I’d like to congratulate the opponents and the fans. It was a good game. I’ll start from the positive moments: we built good lead two or three times. And when the opponents got close we were played disciplined and smart to run away, that means we controlled the game. From the other side we experienced problems when we started to change the players. We would like everyone to contribute and we have to work on it. Kaun is already rehabilitated after virus infection, he started running and lif the weights in Moscow. Hopefully we will be able to use his help in the Euroleague game on Thursday.
