Different methods, the same result

It was not easy to play after the Euroleague game on Friday night against strong team as Spartak. Jure Zdovc is doing good job of coaching the team and his players play hard. We weren’t defending well in the first half though we have shown impressive offensive numbers. In the beginning of the second half and in the fourth quarter our veterans did a good job. Our bad string in the third quarter can be explained by the fact that I used wrong combination of players when we got 9-point lead and I share responsibility for that. I will try not to make the same mistakes in the future. We prepared zone defense before visit to Istanbul but I thought it would be not a good idea to use it against Besiktas. Here we needed to take the opponents out of the rhythm and zone helped us. I should thank my players for perfect execution of zone defense.
