The game in Istanbul came hard for CSKA. The team lost the first two quarters by 6 points thanks to poor field goals percentage (33) but after the half time break Ettore Messina squad build an excellent defense that allow the hosts to score just 20 points in 18 minutes. The final result is 74-64 in CSKA favor.

Fenerbahce Ulker - CSKA: 64-74

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- It was very hard to play on the road against Fenerbahce that won two out of three last games. We lost the part of our consistency after the loss in Kazan in Russian Superleague. The offencive rebounding was very important factor of the game tonight. It was also important for us to guard against Kambala. Not only against his scoring but also against his passes to Mrsic who was excellent tonight.
