CSKA won the derby that was thrilling from the first to the 40th minute. J.R. Holden finished the game with 23 points and 9 assists in 40 minutes.

Dynamo Moscow vs. CSKA: 66-84

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- It was a good game. We tried to avoid putting extra pressure on our players and we tоld them that it is Dynamo turn to win. I want to mention both Zakhar Pashutin and J.R.Holden. The performance of both players was the key for the game. Zakhar helped us to build the lead, his impact came in the key moments. I can not remember if I ever used the player for 40 minutes in the game, like I did today, even when I had Ginobili on the roster. But in the last 3 months J.R. performances are outstanding, I have never seen him playing like this.
