CSKA could do nothing but loose to motivated Unicaja. The Army club could not become a leader even for a while for all 40 minutes and now has the first defeat in the EL Top-16.

Unicaja vs. CSKA: 72-67

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- We did not play with the same intensity as Unicaja did especially in the first half. We played bad defense on their big man. We could do nothing against Santiago. We did not have pressure from the perimeter that could help us. On the offence we played too fast in the crucial moments and did not have enough help from our bench. There can not be any excuses for such a game. And we should examine the video tape carefully. The only good thing is we managed to finish the game with only 5 points difference.
