CSKA lost good chance to win the first game against Efes Pilsen, letting the opponents to go to overtime and win it. The chance for revenge - tomorrow, same time.

Efes Pilsen vs. CSKA: 81-74 OT

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA Head Coach:

“We found our rhythm from the first minutes, and our starters played well in the beginning. Ponkrashov played small forward and looked good against Thornton. We played balanced game both on defense and offense, we controlled the game for 40 minutes. The game was decided by small details, which allowed the opponents to get back to the game with ‘-5’ in the last minute. We made two unforced mistakes on offense and did not rebound the ball. In overtime we missed the concentration. Also in the last 15 minutes we lacked Langdon, who lightly sprained his ankle in the beginning and we decided to give him some rest.”
