The Army team couldn’t find a rhythm of the game for a long time before the best player of the first quarter Mirsad Turkcan make CSKA leading by 13-11. After 23-13 to the 13 minute of the game CSKA reduced a temp. Withouå Brown who didn’t play today J.R. Holden was not good today. In the first 15 minutes of the game he couldn’t score any points. To the halftime CSKA had scored double the number of Lokomotiv’s points: 40-20.

To the 3rd minute of the 3rd quarter CSKA made one more acceleration. Papaloukas scored 3 points, then Yudin replayed it. The lead was extended in the third quarter but Lokomotiv didn’t stop to play. Several 3-points hits from Pronin and Vokhmyanin helped their team to lost this quarter without big route. After 4 points from Diu and Shatohin in the beginning of the last quarter Dusan Ivkovic asked for time-out. After this rest and several substitutions CSKA has finished the game with the victory. Now our team CSKA sits atop the Russian League with an unblemished 9-0 record following the victory.

The head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic:

- In this game we tried to do our best. First of all we played without our shooting guard Marcus Brown, who has some bronchial problems. For that reason he didn’t playing today. We didn’t repeat so high level and rhythm of the game like it was this Wednesday with KRKA Novo Mesto. But we played with very experienced team. Sometimes I cannot understand players but I think that it is necessary to play in one time match rhythm. I don’t like to many any comments individually about my players. We have to play very tough game in Euroleague and we continue preparations for it.

The head coach of Lokomotiv Sergey Babkov:

- It was like practice game for CSKA today. We tried to use individual defense, zone defense, but they only worked at their combinations. They just made everything they need.
