Enisey Krasnoyarsk, which previously was losing to CSKA by no less than 26 points, provided the real battle to the champions this time. The game was decided in closing minutes.

Yenisey Krasnoyarsk vs. CSKA: 79-82

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA Head Coach:

“We started the game badly, allowing the opponent to score on a number of easy shots and letting Chalmers to get on fire. But in the end we deserved the victory, making proper corrections in the third quarter which became a key one. In the end we won thanks to our experience. Our problems are initiated by big rotation mostly as we had to provide our young players with playing time. But we have no choice.”
