“We did not defend well against opponent’s shooters in the first half, they scored on a number of difficult shots. Therefore after the break we tried to play more attentively on defense forcing Kalev to continue to shoot from outside. We just knew that they are not able to score repeatedly from 7 meters. Unfortunately we lost two big men to injury. Sokolov will miss approximately 10 days and Vorontsevich will be reevaluated in Moscow. We had to play small and that helped us against zone defense. We used our reserves actively. Holden came off the bench because he just recuperated after illness and we want him to get back smoothly.”
