The game that could be lost with no sufficient damage to the standings was almost lost by our team. But late heroics helped to win the game vs Olimpija in overtime.

Union Olimpija vs. CSKA: 77-80 OT

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA Head Coach:
“The game was difficult as we expected. We were ready for this kind of game and we planned to build our actions on defense and rebounding. After a good start we fell down, lost the rhythm, had a miscommunication. I think it can be explained by the long vacations when we did not play a single game. In the end we showed our character, defended much better. Kurbanov and Keyru helped us a lot as they defended very well together with Khryapa. Holden and Langdon carried offensive load scoring all the important baskets in the end.”
