The quarterfinal series started with the success for CSKA but the spectators had some chances to get nervous. Krylia kept the intrigue until the end but they were beaten by the three-pointer by Langdon, Birthday boy and the game’s best scorer.

CSKA vs. Krasnye Krylia Samara: 64-57

Evgeny Pashutin, CSKA head coach:

“As we expected we were not ready enough emotionally. That’s why we had some problems in our game. We could feel more comfortable in the end if we made open three-pointers. Still I am thankful to all the players, both leaders and reserves.”
