Our team routed Nizhny Novgorod in away game and returned to the leading group in the PBL standings.

Nizhniy Novgorod vs. CSKA: 60-95

Dmitry Shakulin, CSKA interim coach:
Happy New Year to everyone! I think despite the loss Nizhny Novgorod fans will keep their good mood thanks to the holidays. Hosts were just unlucky: we know very well 90 percent of their players. Some of them played for U20 team which I coached for 4 years, thanks to my work for the National Team I also know the players from Serbia. I am glad that we had some rest and demonstrated professionalism. Big teams have to play focused away and win to get the home court advantage in the playoffs.
