Ukrainian BC Dnepr demonstrated strong character in VTB United League game vs CSKA. But our team did not allow intrigue to live confidently winning in the end.

BC Dnipro vs. CSKA: 65-74

Dmitry Shakulin, CSKA interim coach:
I think the fans liked the game. I am sorry that two Dnepr centers were unable to play tonight, that’s why the game went different way, more comfortable for us. Several baskets by Burtt kept intrigue alive – he was the only one whom we could not guard properly. Our leaders stayed on the court until the final seconds, because we are responsible for the result. It is difficult to play in such a cold gym, and we looked frozen at the start. Because of low temperature I think we missed some easy baskets and lost on rebounds in the first half. Besides the team played under load to prepare for the game vs Lokomotiv.
