American Clinic Moscow was appointed the official medical provider of the CSKA Professional Basketball club for the 2005-06 season. On October, 31st, both the CSKA and the American Clinic representatives met for an agreement signing ceremony.

The game against Dynamo St. Petersburg was a key to the most actual today’s questions: why did CSKA fail so unexpectedly to Spartak in previous match and what was the reason of defeat? Was it a logical or accidental loss?

It was snowing almost all the day long at St.Petersburg as well as in Moscow. But fortunately it did not paralyze the traffic. It took CSKA a bit longer than usual to get to Jubileiny only for the practice in the morning...

CSKA came back to St.Petersburg just two weeks after the last visit. The city of course did not change much since the times of Kondrashin and Belov tournament, but the weather did. To be honest Moscow is not stabile in the matter too and all the staff was aware two days before the trip.

From this season on it is forbidden to smoke inside the Universal Sports Hall CSKA. There would be the special signs in the former smoking areas. The only chance for the audience to smoke would be at the half time break, outside of the hall. On the way back one would have to demonstrate the ticket.

CSKA played the last game of the Sibirian tour against Universitet from Surgut. The Army club so far became the leader of the league with three games played, most of the teams played only two. The hall where Surgut would play some games of the championship is a very small one. Just 7 stands of 7 row each. And off course all the places for the game were taken a long before the start of the game.

The Army club took the charter flight to Novosibirsk right after the game against Spartak-Primor’e. The team had a practice in the morning and started the game at 19.15 local time. As well as in Vladivostok CSKA ensured the house to be sold out at Sevenyi sports hall. But there was no such public excitement as at Primor’e. It is no surprise, the audience at Novosibirsk has a chance to see CSKA once a year.

‘You should remember the formula or the answer on the question or whatever even if you would be wakened up late at night’. For sure everyone heard the phrase from the teachers at school or in the institute. Now it was CSKA turn to show what the team can do in case of staying up all night and being awakened up early in the morning.

After the end of press conference for mass media, CSKA leadership, coaching staff, first-team players and, it was a surprise of the evening, also famous veterans went to a tradition meeting with supporters which took place on the main arena of USH CSKA.

‘It does not matter what I would say. You would write that our goal is to win the Euroleague’, - mentioned CSKA head coach Ettore Messina answering one of the questions on the press conference during the media day. And these words express the atmosphere of in the hall better than any other.

Today CSKA sent the letter of clearance to RFB on forward Ksistof Lavrinovich. The player who had signed 3 years agreement with our club from now on belongs to UNIKS. The club from Kazan paid the transfer fee and the contract was cancelled. It took rather a long time to get all the paper job done because UNIKS was ready to finish the deal only as soon as Lavrinovich passed medical tests after the European Championship.

The final game of Kondrashin and Belov tournament became the first one to be broadcasted on the TV. So for the first time in the season all the supporters got a chance to watch CSKA play.

CSKA qualified to the final game of the tournament in St.Petersburg. The Army club’s rival would be Dynamo St.Petersburg. The game would start at 16.00 CET. As for the game against Lokomotiv Rostov it came hard to CSKA.

Today CSKA finally gathered all the players under Ettore Messina guidance and had two practices. Theodoros Papaloukas, J.R.Holden, Alexey Savrasenko joined the team.All of the players came back from the National teams what took part in 2005 European championship...

The Army club did not take part in the 3rd game day at Rino Snaidero Memorium. But the results of the other teams effected CSKA prompt at the competition. Snaidero won 77-66 against Cibona. This means CSKA took second position in the group and would play in the game for the 3rd place...
