Another NT player in CSKA

Russian NT forward Vladimir Dyachok (204 sm, 1980) became another CSKA player for the upcoming season. He signed a 2+1 contact and became the 4th NT player on CSKA roster.

Smodis joins CSKA!

Slovenian forward Matjaz Smodis signed a 3-years contract with CSKA. The player spend last five seasons in the teams of Italian Bologna – three in Kinder and the last two in Fortitudo. Before that Smodis was the leader of Slovenian KRKA.

Sergey Monya in Portland

Forward of CSKA and Russian NT Sergey Monya signed a multi-year contract with Portland Trail Blazers. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. He was originally drafted by with the 23rd overall selection in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Papaloukas signed 3-years contract

PBC CSKA and Greek playmaker Theodoros Papaloukas signed new contract with the Army club. According to it this player will play in Moscow till the end of 2007/08 season.

Russian junior NT lose on last second

Russian junior team lose the last game of the group stage on European U-20 Championship to Slovenia. Besides it, our team held the first place in Group C.

CSKA in Group C

Today Euroleague Draw 2005/06 took place in Prague. According to it CSKA was moved to Group C and will hold the first game at home against Montepaschi Italy.

Euroleague 2005/06 draw will take place on Sunday, July, 10 at 11:00 CET in Prague. 24 teams will be divided into 8 levels of 3 teams each, in accordance with the final standings of the previous season.

Russian team leads the group

In the second game of European U-20 championship Eugeny Pashutin team defeat France team and became the leader of group C. Our team started the game not very goos, scoring only 4 field throws from 15.

Granger can return to Efes

PBC CSKA has no objection to move of the forward of CSKA Antonio Granger to Turkish Efes Pilsen. This moment juridical departments of CSKA and Efes continue to work at the details of an agreement. According to this agreement American forward will can return to Istanbul team.
