Cibona - CSKA: 82-111

It would be determined tomorrow if CSKA would play for the first or for the 3rd place at the tournament in Udine. It depends on the result of the game Snaidero – Udine. CSKA lost by 9 points to Italians and won by 29 against Cibona.

Snaidero - CSKA: 90-81

Today CSKA played the first game at the tournament in Udine. The team came to the city just an hour before the game start. There are some changes in the roster. Artur Urazmanov and Maxim Sheleketo went back to Moscow. Most likely both would continue their careers at CSK VVS. Before departure the CSKA head coach Ettore Messina talked to both and gave his recommendations.

Korolev left for LA Clippers

The agreement between PBC CSKA, forward Yaroslav Korolev and NBA club LA Clippers was signed yesterday. According to it CSKA breaks a contract with Korolev and Clippers receives all the rights on the player. The transfer on CSKA side would be completed as soon as the club would send the letter of clearance to RBF.

CSKA - Benetton: 80-75

CSKA won the Moncalieri tournament after beating Benetton 80-75 in the extra time. It was the 3rd match of these two teams in two past weeks and before the game the series tied 1-1.

Dikoudis leaves CSKA

CSKA and Greek forward Demos Dikoudis reached an agreement on breaking a contract. PBC CSKA is greatful to the player for the season he spent in our club and wishes luck in his further career.

CSKA – Biella: 72-59

At the game day there was a press conference held in the commune of the Moncalieri city. The major and the representatives of all the teams were present. CSKA is the only foreign team this year. This is the reason why the club was represented at the meeting not only by the coach Molin but also by Matjaz Smodis.

CSKA spend the game vs. Livorno without David Andersen who got a cold and even did not attend the match. It came very hard to the Army club to play without center. It is just worth to mention the starting five of the team – Vyaltsev, Kurbanov, Bashminov, Panov and Langdon.

CSKA lost the first friendly game of the season. The same as in the game against Khimki-2 the players of the main line-up played mostly in the first two quarters of the game. The younger players had a chance to show their best for all the last quarter long.

Panov and Karasev said good-bye to the National team

Today two leaders of Russian National team in the 90s Sergey Panov and Vasily Karasev said good-bye to it. The video clip with the best actions and movements of both players were shown in front of the crowd gathered at CSKA Universal Sports Hall. After that the former captain of the National team Karasev gave Andrei Kirilenko the captain band. There is no such accessory in basketball; it was just a symbol.

Dyachok joined CSKA practices

Russian National team head coach Sergey Babkov announced that Vladimir Dyachok is no longer with the team. The reason is competition on the small forward position. ‘He needs to start practicing with CSKA as soon as possible in order to get self-reliance’ – said the mentor.
