CSKA Office Loses in Rebok 3x3 Final

Today the PBC CSKA office team took part in the Reebok 3x3 VIP tournament. On the open court at Festival Park, PBC CSKA general director Sergey Kushchenko, Olympic champion Valery Tikhonenko, team administrator Andrey Shchepankov and sales director Sergey Pugachev played for the army club.

CSKA at Training Camp in Zlatibor

Yesterday PBC CSKA players not playing for their national teams, in addition to players from the CSKA Reserves, traveled to the Yugoslav city Zlatibor to for a training camp to prepare for the upcoming season.

CSKA’s Season Begins!

PBC CSKA held it’s first practice of the season tonight with all of the team’s primary players not preparing with their national teams. Remeber, six CSKA players are now preparing for the 2003 European Championships with their respective national teams.

CSKA Signs a Georgian Junior National Player

PBC CSKA signed a long-term contract with one of the leaders of the Georgian Junior National Team - point guard Georgy Tsintsadze (193 cm, 1986).

Our Players in the Junior National Team

The Russian Junior National team is undefeated in the qualification round of the 2004 European Championships, which are currently being held in the Bulgarian city of Yambol. Two representatives of the Army club are playing with the Russian team - forwards Nikita Shabalkin and Nikita Kurbanov.

Mirsad Turkcan Returns To CSKA

Yesterday night forward of the Turkish National team Mirsad Turkcan came to Moscow. He already played for CSKA in 2001-02 season. After the medical examination of the athlete the sides signed the two-years (1+1) contract.
