CSKA lost to TAU

It was a first and last loss for CSKA in Euroleague Top 16-05/06. In the game that couldn't influence the group standings Army men lost to Tau from Vitoria - 63-70.

CSKA won the Superleague!

By overscoring Khimki 98-79 in the 22nd game of the Superleague CSKA became the winner of the regular championship. There are two more games left to play for the Army club – against Sibirtelecom in Moscow and against Ural Great in Perm. Despite the score the game was not an easy one for CSKA. The team managed to receive the advantage of more than 10 points only in the end of the 3rd quarter.

Euroleague. CSKA reached play-off round

CSKA became the first quarterfinalist of Euroleague. In the fourth game of Top 16 Army men defeated Lietuvos Rytas - 79-69. CSKA led 11 points after the first half but lost that advantage in the third quarter. So our players had to fight in the end. And they were successful.

CSKA in Top 16: 3-0! But it was tough!

In a very close game against rivals from Bamberg CSKA managed to get another win in Euroleague Top 16 and moved one step forward towards qualification from group F from the first place. A great run of the home team in the last quarter was finally stopped and Army men continue to posses a clean record sheet.

CSKA is getting ready for the game in Nurnberg

Today at 14.00 CET CSKA left the territory of the USH CSKA and went to the airport. Two hours later the plane with 12 players and the coaching staff started the flight to Nurnberg, Germany. Tomorrow at 20.45 CET the team is going to play the third game of TOP16 vs. GMT Bamberg.

CSKA won in Rostov

CSKA won the 6th game in the Superleague in a row. Lokomotiv was more aggressive and lucky in the start of the game. In the first half CSKA was not a leader even for a minute and even more, the team was down by 9 points (39-30) in the middle of the second period. But after the half time break the situation changed. The Army club won the 3rd quarter 30-11 and the final buzz stopped the game with the score 96-68 in CSKA favor.

CSKA – TAU: 82-76

CSKA won a very important home game. TAU scored 26 points in the first quarter and got 10 points lead. Only by the half time the Army club managed to even the score. The 8-0 run in the third period helped CSKA to build a lead and to win a game in general.
