CSKA in Belgrade: very busy tourists

The absence of days of over the New Year’s holidays, as it turns out, is typical for team under Yugoslavian coaches. For example, the head coach of the Greek team Panathinaikos—mentor of Dusan Ivkovic Zeljko Obradovic – can’t get away to Belgrade for the New Year’s celebrations. The reason? Two practices set for December 31 and January 1.

Day one: unpleasant events with excellent conclusions

The first incident in the Belgrade training camp occurred with one of the coaches already in Moscow. One of the CSKA coaches, Ivan Eremic, was attacked near his home by a stray dog and spent several unpleasant minutes standing on the hood of his car.

In the first half, CSKA was able to make their fans adequately worried. The team, whose trademark has long been their defense, was not executing well defensively. Things went better offensively, as if there were nothing in the way. The ball refused to stay on the perimeter. CSKA congratulates Russian tennis players

Today in the Radisson Slavyanskaya hotel, a banquet was held in honor of the Russian national tennis team, which won the Davis Cup last week-one of the world’s most respected trophies. Present at the banquet was the head of the Goskomsport of Russia Bycheslav Fetisov, former President of Russia Boris Yeltsin, form Minister of Labor and Social Development Oleg Sysuev and President of PBC CSKA Alekandr Gomelskiy.

CSKA signs Victor Alexander

The PBC CSKA decided today to exclude Chris Gatling from their Euroleague and Superleague rosters, respectively, due to the fact that he has returned to the United States due to family matters. Today PBC CSKA also signed American center Victor Alexander (33 years old, 208 cm) to a contract.
