PBC CSKA participated in streetball tournament

Last Sunday an annual children streetball tournament Cup of Head of Central district of Moscow took place on Reebok 3x3 area. Honorable visitors of tournament Andrey Kirilenko, Viktor Khryapa, Sergey Monya present young players souvenirs from the army club.

Marcus Brown signed 2-years contract

Today the rewarding of the army team by gold medals and Champions Cup of Russian Championship 2003/04 season took place in Moscow. Also American guard of PBC CSKA Marcus Brown signed new 2-years contract with the club.

CSKA is the champion!

Defeating UNICS Kazan in the fourth game of the series CSKA again won gold medals of Russian Championship. Army team took an initiative in the second quarter and did not lose it until the final buzzer. All trying of the opponent to recover were finished by nothing.

UNICS vs CSKA: 1-2

Missing spurt of Kazan team in the early beginning CSKA could not recover. UNICS won 92-76 and cut army team advantage to 2-1 in the series. Before the fourth game CSKA has an advantage in 1 victory and tomorrow will return to the parquet of Basket Hall.

Army team came to Kazan

Today Moscow army team by the charter flight from the airport Vnukovo-3 went to Kazan to continue the final series of play-off of Russian Championship. Coaching staff of CSKA took to the capital of Tatarstan 12 players.

Alexander will not take part in the final

Yesterday on the morning practice the center of our club Viktor Alexander injured his leg and could not participate in the second final series of Russian Championship. Today Alexander had medical checkup.

CSKA – UNICS: 2-0 before Kazan

Nerve-strain of the second game of the final series was like in the Euroleague TOP16 game CSKA against Tau Ceramica Spain. CSKA was leading not full 7 minutes. Two of them in the amazing ending which become victorious for the army team.

CSKA leads the final series

Moscow army team won the first game of the final series of play-off of Russian Championship against UNICS Kazan. Losing 11 points CSKA could recover and made brilliant spurt and won.

Stanislav Eremin: We did not keep all our tasks

Today at 8:00 am the opponent of Moscow army team in the final series of play-off UNICS Kasan came to Moscow by the regular flight. Team is living in the nearest hotel to USH CSKA – Aerostar. In the evening Stanislav Eremin team came to home arena of CSKA to have 2-hour practice.

The final series of play-off between CSKA and UNICS Kazan will start in 2 days. Box-offices started to sell tickets 2 days ago, on Wednesday. After the end of the working day people comes to USH CSKA to buy tickets.

After winning the semifinal series of play-off against Dynamo Moscow CSKA started to practice to the final series. The opponent of the army team will become known only on Wednesday, in the fifth game between UNICS and Ural-Great.

PBC CSKA finished totals of the contest of children pictures. The locker room of CSKA in Tel-Aviv during Final Four of Euroleague was decorated by these pictures. Now it is time to name the winner...

CSKA became the first finalist of Russian Championship 2003-04 by beating Dynamo Moscow today. Army team had control on the game from the early beginning. Only in the last quarter they missed lately spurt of hosts.

Sergey Panov will hold Olympic torch

On July, 3 the Olympic torch will be carried on Moscow streets. One of men who will hold it will be captain of basketball club CSKA Sergey Panov. It was set fire on it in Greece a month and a half ago. On July, 3 it will come to Moscow.

This time army team players did not give Dynamo any opportunity for the win. Team of Zvi Sherf could fight against CSKA only in the last quarter when the result of the game was already clearly.

Brown and Turkcan in All-Euroleague team

The all-Euroleague team for 2003-04 has been named tonight at a gala dinner in Tel Aviv. And the winners are: at guard, Sarunas Jasikevicius of Maccabi Tel Aviv and Marcus Brown of CSKA Moscow; at forward, Dejan Bodiroga of FC Barcelona and Mirsad Turkcan of CSKA; and at center, Arvydas Sabonis of Zalgiris Kaunas.
